Is Tower Rush legal in India for real money?
Playing Tower Rush for real money online is not lawful in India under the Act in force since 1 May 2026. This applies whether a game relies on skill, chance or both, and includes services operated from outside India. Read the India Code text of the Act and the government’s explanation of the Act and Rules for the underlying provisions.
What the Act prohibits
The Act prohibits online money games played by paying a fee or staking money in expectation of winning money. It also prohibits advertising and promotion of these games, and bars banks and payment systems from processing payments for them. Unlawful platforms may be blocked under the Information Technology Act, 2000. These rules apply even when the operator is based outside India.
What the Act allows
The Act recognises e-sports and online social games without stakes, and establishes the Online Gaming Authority of India. A foreign licence does not make real-money Tower Rush lawful for a player in India.

Tower Rush legal in India: does the demo count?
The free demo uses virtual credits
The public demo starts with 100,000 Fun credits, which have no cash value. In our free demo test on 2 November 2026, a 3 Fun bet and a first-floor multiplier of x1.3 produced a 3.9 Fun cashout. In another test, a 5 Fun bet across six floors showed 10.07 Fun at cashout. These are demo results, not money or a promise of future results. You can read more about the free demo and how to play.
A demo is different from a stake
Because the demo uses virtual Fun credits and involves no stake or money, it is not the same as real-money play under the Act. The game is made by Galaxsys; a casino or betting site is the operator. The Galaxsys Tower Rush page describes the game, but does not change Indian law or make an operator lawful.

Check what the rules mean for players
Blocked sites and payments
The government told Parliament it issued 1,524 blocking orders against online betting and gambling platforms from 2022 to June 2025. A site may be blocked, and a payment may be refused or reversed. Do not treat a page loading in your browser as confirmation that real-money play is lawful. Read about the distinction between real-money play and the demo.
Offshore operators and disputed withdrawals
An operator’s foreign licence does not change the Indian prohibition. There is no protection from Indian authorities for a disputed withdrawal from an offshore site. Tower Rush itself is a game, not an account or payment service: registration and deposits, where offered, are handled by the operator. The game has no standalone app from Galaxsys; it runs in a mobile browser on an operator’s site or in that operator’s own app. Our app information explains this distinction.

If you face a payment problem
Do not send more money to an offshore operator to try to recover a disputed withdrawal. For cyber fraud, contact the National Cyber Crime helpline on 1930. A foreign licence or a working game page does not remove the legal risks described above.
If play is affecting your wellbeing
For mental health support, contact the free, 24x7 Tele-MANAS helpline on 14416 or 1-800-891-4416, or visit Tele-MANAS. Our responsible gambling information also lists support options.

Tower Rush, the operator and your device
Know which service you are using
Galaxsys develops Tower Rush. The operator controls any account, registration, payment or site access; the browser or operator’s app is only the way you view the game. This site’s Play or Register buttons lead to a partner site and may earn a commission. They do not make real-money play lawful in India. In short, Tower Rush’s free demo is distinct from staking money with an operator, and the Indian legal position on real-money play remains the same.
